The Washington Post and MSNBC’s Jonathan Capehart made a very moving personal statement in today’s edition of Up With Steve Kornacki, in the wake of yet another case of curious police-involved shooting of a young black male in Ferguson, Missouri.
Curated from Up with Steve Kornacki
I am including two joint appearances by Jonathan Capehart and Charles M. Blow in the immediate aftermath of the killing of Trayvon Martin as a reminder why there can be no let up in our demands for justice.
Charles M. Blow appeared with Lawrence O’Donnell as the Sanford police chief’s resignation was not accepted by the Sanford city council. As we are about to enter yet another self-investigation, by yet another police department, I include this appearance by Charles Blow as a reminder of just how much we knew, in real time, about how wrongly things were being handled. Let us not allow yet another self-investigation to go wrong.
We can and must demand better.
