A message to readers | Patrons for Blog#42

Dear readers,

I am writing to ask for your help in building Blog#42 into a reader-supported, proper online magazine that is free of corporate influence and 100% devoted to keeping you informed of the most important issues of the day.

Since August when I first reported on my modest success using Facebook’s promotion feature, I’ve invested the funds generously contributed by readers and obtained excellent results, with relatively little money. Here are some snapshots of some of the campaigns I’ve run:

FBIFundraiser

and

PrecariatAd

I would like to do much more! I would like to be able to employ other contributors with different sets of expertise to round out what the blog offers. I would like to be able to hire a part-time assistant whose focus would be to curate newsworthy items.

Your small monthly contribution would be deeply appreciated. $3-10 per month, or more if you can afford it, could go a very long way in helping me promote the blog, specifically target its content to readers who are looking for the kind of analysis I provide here. Your contribution would also help defray the cost of renewing domains and tools I use to deliver quality content.

I use Patreon, a patronage management site specifically created for artists and writers. They handle all the financial processing. I want to do a lot more here, but am limited by the means at my disposal. Thanks to your support, my blog pieces have been read a total of 120,000 times, as of January 3rd.

Please, do click through to Patreon.com to contribute. Thank you for your support.
