Dear Friends, I would like to thank you all for the outpouring of moral and financial support you’ve given me these last two weeks.
Many of you made contributions to my GoFundMe campaign when you, yourselves, could least afford it. It both breaks my heart to accept them knowing you sacrificed for me, and renews my faith in humanity. At a time of deep uncertainty, fear, and great sorrow, I am thankful for each and every one of you.
Some of you have come forward with suggestions. I thank you for those.
A reader who is in the publishing industry has offered to assist me in putting together a collection of my writings and publish it. I look forward to putting that work together just as soon as we are settled somewhere.
This has been a very stressful week, full of worries. My daughter underwent emergency surgery to replace a faulty epilepsy implant. Thanks to your generous contributions, I am hoping to secure temporary housing for a week to 10 days while she recovers. Sadly, I’ve not come close to meeting my fundraising goals. I will keep this campaign going as best I can.
